Charge: Minor Capital Working Group The Minor Capital Working Group (MCWG) is an informal group of divisional representatives that are knowledgeable and regularly involved in the request, coordination and delivery of Western’s minor capital projects each biennium. When the Provost/Vice Presidents complete their divisional capital request and prioritization processes, the top priority requests are submitted to the Capital Budget Office. At that point, Facilities Management begins cost estimates of the top priority requests and the MCWG starts meeting to develop a recommendation on institutional priorities for President’s Council review. The MCWG meets four to five times (typically includes a lunch hour and the hour before or after lunch) over an intense four week period that occurs in February of even numbered years. It is a working group not a committee. Submitted by Nancy Phillips 6 9 07v1.01
