ACADEMIC COORDINATING COMMISSION MINUTES
Regular Meeting -- February 27, 2007
Vice Chair Roger Thompson called the meeting of the Academic Coordinating Commission to order on February 27, 2007, in OM340 at 4:10 p.m. Thompson explained that Chair Jim Hearne was in the hospital for unknown reasons, and that he would be leading the meeting as soon as a quorum was present. Members initially began discussion of a motion regarding Add/Drop, but the discussion was postponed when a quorum arrived and the meeting was called to order at 4:15 pm. There were eleven (11) members present, and four (4) others for a total of fifteen (15). (See attached roster).
Approval of ACC minutes
Commissioners amended and approved the minutes of February 13, 2007 with minor corrections.

Huxley has not yet addressed the issue of alpha suffices in these minutes. Commissioners agreed to accept the minutes, but do not approve ESCI361a or the capstone major courses 498a, b, c, with the alpha suffices and await further clarification from Huxley College, hopefully prior to the catalog deadline. |

Note to TCCC minutes of 2/6/07, and Woodring minutes of 2/2/2007. One issue is an overlap in titles and descriptions, with accompanying prerequisites and rationales. Commissioners seek clarification, and ask that a high level Woodring administrator visit ACC to answer questions in these minutes, and specifically regarding the Teacher Outreach program.
DISCUSSION
Following a quorum call prior to which several members had to leave, the remaining Commissioners postponed the additional agenda items until next meeting.
Commissioners adjourned at 5:42 pm.
