TOPICAL INDEX OF ARCHIVED MINUTES
Early copies of Minutes not posted in their entirety to this website can be found at the Western Washington University Archives and the Special Collections at the Wilson Library in paper form.
On the page below you will find an INDEX (currently in process) of topics which are mentioned in the paper minutes as far back as the early 1970's. A data base which holds a list with over 400 topical entries** is able to sort the dated minutes by topic, so that if you find a topic that interests you, there is a good chance that you can find the minutes and read what actions were taken by Senators or College Faculty Council members in those years. Gail Kleer, Records and Information Manager, WWU Archives and Records Center, and Tamara Belts, Western Libraries Special Collections will be able to locate those paper minutes for you to peruse.
We have just begun to create this topical index, and appreciate any suggestions you may have on how we can improve its usefulness.
