medications and approaches that can help you quit for good. Help is
available. Start by contacting your health plan to see if they offer
a free smoking cessation program.
Other places to get help are through the Washington State Tobacco

Call service sponsored by the Washington State Department of
Health. These services are confidential and free to Washington
residents.

Activities & Events
Every year, smokers across the nation take part in the
American Cancer Society’s Great American Smokeout® by smoking
less or quitting for the day on the third Thursday of
November. The event challenges people to stop using tobacco
and raises awareness of the many effective ways to quit for good.
