TEMPORARY VACANCY POOL

Hourly Rate: Variable

Western Washington University is establishing a pool of applicants for those interested in full-time, part-time, and/or on-call temporary positions.  These positions are typically clerical, trades, and/or custodial.  Applications are retained for a period of six months, unless otherwise notified.

When a vacancy occurs, the temporary applications are screened and the applications of the top 5 or so qualified candidates are given to the hiring department for further consideration.  The hiring authority then reviews and determines the candidates to be contacted for an interview.
