Salary Range:  $2,984 - $3,291/mo.

Applications are being accepted to establish an eligibility list and are open to ALL qualified applicants.  The list will be used to fill the current full-time, permanent vacancy in Facilities Management.  Applications will be accepted continuously, unless, 3 days’ prior closing notice is given.

Summary of Duties:  Performs maintenance, repairs, and installation on fire alarm, intrusion, suppression equipment, clocks, electrical & Direct Controls, DDC, and EMCS systems. 

Minimum Qualifications:  Completion of a 4-year approved institution course as a Control Technician Trainee; OR 4 years of applicable experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and pneumatic control systems. Vocational or trade school training in control mechanisms may be substituted, year-for-year, for work experience up to a maximum of 2 years.   Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications. 

Specific Position Requirements:  4 years of experience/training in installation, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm and security systems required (Edwards SDU programming protocol; or Fireworks fire alarm systems preferred).  Vocational or trade school training in fire, security, access control systems may be substituted, year-for-year, for work experience up to a maximum of 2 years.

Working Conditions: 

Possession of a valid Washington State Driver’s license.
