Human Resources has established an Outplacement Center to assist employees who are or may be impacted by the University's involuntary reduction in force.  Our objective is to provide displaced employees with the tools to successfully:
  • Understand their benefits
  • Market themselves online
  • Create professional cover letters and resumes
  • Interview
  • Utilize job search resources

We understand that this is a very difficult time for our employees and their families.  The Human Resources staff is committed to making every effort to support employees during these difficult times.  Current employees are also encouraged to access the Washington State Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at any time for free, confidential, professional assistance to help you and your family resolve problems that affect your personal lives and job.

In an effort to minimize the impact on employees and their families who have or may be facing job loss, WWU Human Resources, in partnership with WorkSource, is offering an Outplacement Services Resource Presentation to provide important information about available resources.  Spouses and partners of employees are also welcome.  Please see the agenda for scheduled time of specific topics.
