Can we send in a resume instead of applying on-line?

You may send in a resume only if it is stated on the job announcement under "Application Instructions and Requested Documents".  Otherwise, you must login and apply online as directed.

If I don't have a computer where do I go to complete an on-line application?

If you do not have a computer to apply on-line, you may complete your on-line application at the Human Resources Department kiosk at 405 - 32nd Street, on the 3rd  floor or go to your local library.

If you have difficulties with the on-line application, please call 360-650-3774.

How are applications screened and when will I be notified of the results of my application?

All complete applications submitted on time receive consideration.  Finalists selected for an interview are contacted by the hiring department.  Unsuccessful applicants may or may not receive notification that they were not selected.  The selection process varies depending on the number of applications received and is generally within 6 weeks after the closing date.

You may view the status of your on-line applications by logging in and clicking 'View Submitted Apps'.  The status is indicated under 'Status' column:

♦  New: New application has been received; application hasn't been processed

Pending: Your application is being processed (e.g., screening, reviewing, semi-
finalists/alternate, and finalists being determined by screening committee, etc.)

♦  Closed: Position has been filled
