The VEBA Medical Expense Plan is a
post-retirement medical expense reimbursement account available
to eligible state and higher education employees. The VEBA MEP
enables WWU to deposit funds equivalent to your cash-out of
compensable unused sick leave at retirement, tax free to a VEBA
Trust account on your behalf.
The opportunity for you to participate in
VEBA at retirement is dependent upon your employee
