Life Insurance:
Life insurance helps to minimize the stress and expense of unforeseeable
events. To ensure the protection of your family, Part A Basic Life Insurance
is offered to all eligible employees at no additional cost to you (Basic Life,
$25,000 and AD&D, $5,000). Within 60 days of your eligibility, you can
enroll in Part B Basic which a flat rate per month regardless of how
many dependents you have listed. Other additional plans are Part B
Supplemental Spouse up to $25,000, Part C Optional, and Part D
Supplemental Life up to $50,000. The cost of coverage for these plans
is determined by your age, the amount of insurance you choose, and whether or
not your or your spouse (if he/she is covered under Part B Supplemental Spouse)
smokes. Additionally, Voluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Insurance, Part E, is offered in order to provide assistance when you
or a dependent dies or is dismembered from a covered accident.
