Eligibility for benefits is determined by the Faculty/Staff Benefits Office as
specified in WAC 182-12-115.
Eligibility is determined based on the position you hold and
the amount of hours you work.
"Benefits" include medical insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance,
and basic long-term disability insurance.
Eligibility for retirement participation is determined by the
Faculty/Staff Benefits Office and is determined based on the employee’s
position, classification of position, percent of appointment, and any prior
participation in a State of Washington or State of Washington Higher Education
Retirement Plan.
