Eligibility for benefits is determined by Benefits Services as specified in WAC 182-12-115. Eligibility is determined based on the position you hold and the amount of hours you work.

"Benefits" include medical insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, and basic long-term disability insurance.

Eligibility for retirement participation is determined by Benefits Services and is determined based on the employee’s position, classification of position, percent of appointment, and any prior participation in a State of Washington or State of Washington Higher Education Retirement Plan.
