About the Position: 

The Computer Science department maintains a vacancy pool of qualified persons interested in temporary teaching positions.  In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, applications are accepted continuously for temporary non-tenure track teaching positions on a part-time basis with occasional opportunities for temporary, full-time appointments.  Positions may become available at any time and are typically filled on a quarterly basis. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

To teach Computer Science courses, as directed by the department chair.

 

Required Qualifications:

MS degree in Computer Science or related field

 

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in Computer Science or related field

Demonstrated experience and skills working with a diverse population of students, faculty and staff

 

About the Department:

The Computer Science department has 11 permanent faculty and offers courses for 120-150 CS majors, plus service courses in computer concepts, software development, and web development for students from other disciplines.
