About the Position:
The Science Education Program at Western Washington University department maintains a vacancy pool of qualified persons interested in temporary teaching positions. In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, applications are accepted continuously for temporary non-tenure track teaching positions on a part-time basis with occasional opportunities for temporary, full-time appointments. Positions may become available at any time and are typically filled on a quarterly basis.
Position Responsibilities:
Teach Science Education courses as directed by the Director.

Required Qualifications:
Qualified applicants must have 4 years science teaching experience at the elementary or secondary grade level and a Master’s degree in a science or science education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with diverse students and staff is a desired attribute.
About the Department:
The Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education Program at Western Washington University is dedicated to the enrichment and education of P-12 pre-service teachers.
