Woodring College of Education, Department of Human Services and Rehabilitation is seeking exceptionally qualified faculty at the rank of Lecturer to teach for the Human Services Undergraduate Program.
Closing Date:
Open Continuous. Priority submission date for fall quarter teaching is June 1; September 1 for winter quarter; November 1 for spring quarter; February 1 for summer quarter.
Job Locations:
Bellingham, Cyber (web based), Everett, and Bremerton, on the Kitsap Peninsula.
About the Position:
Teaching positions are assigned for the quarter (fall, winter, spring and summer) and are temporary and part-time, based upon the needs of the Program(s). Position Responsibilities:
The Human Services Program offers a baccalaureate degree in Human Services at four sites: Bellingham, Cyber (web based), Everett and Bremerton on the Kitsap Peninsula. For 2006 -07, the Department introduces its revised curriculum. There are teaching opportunities in the following areas, but not limited to:
§ Applied Research Methods
§ Human Services Management
§ Case Management
§ Program Planning and Evaluation
§ Human Development
Required Qualifications:
§ Applicants are required to have a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an area related to the subject matter and to be active in the profession.
§ Previous successful and relevant University/adult teaching experience is required, as well as experience working with diverse students and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
§ Doctorate
§ Experience with distance education (web based instruction).
