VACANCY POOL FOR TEMPORARY, PART-TIME TEACHING POSITIONS

Woodring College of Education is seeking exceptionally qualified faculty and internship coordinators for temporary, part-time teaching positions in various extension sites.

 

The Woodring College of Education offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree, endorsement and certificate programs at locations around the greater Puget Sound region.  Currently, the College is seeking qualified vacancy pool applicants for potential part-time openings at Western’s Bellingham, Bremerton, Everett, Oak Harbor, and Seattle extension sites. 

 

Qualifications

Internship coordinator vacancies:

Applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree plus graduate credits, and evidence of accomplished preK-12 teaching, as well as experience working with diverse students and staff.

 

Undergraduate-level teaching vacancies:

Applicants are required to have a current master’s degree in the applicable field/discipline and/or recent post-master’s coursework; preference will be given to applicants with a doctoral/terminal degree in the related areas. Successful relevant teaching and University/adult teaching experience is required, as well as experience working with diverse students and staff.

 

Graduate-level teaching vacancies:

Applicants are required to hold a doctorate or terminal degree. Successful relevant teaching and University/adult teaching experience is required, as well as experience working with diverse students and staff.

 

Positions

Secondary Education (Master’s in Teaching), including:

Art Education

Student teaching intern supervisors
