Two Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Positions

Position(s)

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in auditing and/or accounting information systems. In addition, Scholarly research and publication, student advising, and participation in college and university activities are integral components of this appointment. Date of Appointment: September 16, 2007

Qualifications

Effective teaching and publication in refereed journals are required for tenure and promotion; thus, the successful candidate must have a strong teaching and research record or be able to demonstrate clear potential. 

A doctoral degree in accounting is required by appointment date. 

Preference may be given to candidates with experience in: teaching auditing and/or systems, internal controls, internal auditing; courses with a writing component; and a student-centered educational environment.  Professional certification is preferred.
