Cartographic Sharing / Map Gallery
Open to All - Maps from
around the Northwest.
For the last portion of the meeting we will have time for viewing and discussing maps, atlases or posters that people have brought. ANYONE who is interested is strongly ENCOURAGED to bring any maps they have (good, bad, old, new, large, small, color, black & white, challenges as well as successes) to post on the wall or have on the tables. If people want to say a word or two about their maps, that’s fine, but for the most part we’ll simply have a bunch of maps to look at and discuss, posted around the room.
If there are unique aspects to you map(s), feel free to print up a short note describing the how or why aspects of your map so that you can wander around looking at other maps instead of having to explain your work over and over.
