The Institute for Spatial Information and Analysis is composed of the Huxley Map Library, the Spatial Analysis Laboratory (SAL), and various GIS projects labs. These facilities provide current and archival maps as well as digital data and spatial analysis using geographic information systems, remote sensing, transportation modeling, GPS, and other applications. A GIS minor and suite of courses are available through Huxley College. The Huxley Map Library (a National Map Repository) is considered a major collection in the United States and houses over 250,000 maps and 1,000 atlases as well as slide and large format scanning and printing capabilities.
