Once you download the latest GPS almanac (the ephemeris data) it can be used in either Trimble Pathfinder (installed in AH-16) or Timble's free Planning software)

This link will download a file (current.ssf) that will need to be placed in one of the following folders depending upon which software you are using):

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trimble\Almanacs

(replacing the existing file of the same name) for Quick Plan

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trimble\Planning

(replacing the existing file of the same name) for Planning

Once this file has been downloaded and installed, a projection of satellite configuration geometry can be created for a given date and location using Quick Plan (available under the Utilities menu of Pathfinder office) or Trimble's Free Planning software.
