SUMMER PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH (SPY)
Elementary - Entering Grades 4-6
Middle - Entering Grades 7-8
Enthusiastic and dedicated instructors and staff have created unique academic enrichment offerings that inspire campers entering grades 4-8.
Campers will attend classes that include field trips, lab work, projects, and other activities to make learning fun. Student orientation is held from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. on Mondays. Classes meet daily, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Dorm stay option is not available for grades 4-8.
Elementary and Middle School students bring a sack lunch from home Monday through Thursday. We will dine in the “all-you can eat” cafeteria on Friday. After class, all students participate in the recreation period from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Participants will play field games, go hiking, and more.
Campers will experience and enjoy what learning on a college campus has to offer. Summer Programs for Youth (SPY) is an expanded version of the popular Adventures in Science and Arts that dates back to 1982.
