Just for Parents

Sleeping Over with Science and Arts (SOS & A) selects students in Western's education program who will provide instruction and supervision at a 1 to 6 ratio.   Sleeping groups are separated by gender.

All students will check-in, snack, watch movies, sleep, eat breakfast, and check out at the Science Learning Resource Center in Western's Science, Mathematics and Technology Education (SMATE) building.

What to Bring:
Pack lightly with everything in one bag.  Clearly mark all your belongings, Western is not responsible for lost items. Campers sleep in their clothes, so dress comfortably.

Program
  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Backpack
  • Camping mattress (optional)
Recreation Option (pack recreation items in a small, separate bag)
  • Swimsuit
  • Towel
  • Sturdy sneakers
Check-in - Friday
Friday, 6:30-7:00 pm at the Science Learning Resource Center in Western's SMATE building.

Check-out - Saturday
Program:  8:00 am at the Science Learning Resource Center in Western's SMATE building.

Recreation Option:  10:30 am at the Science Learning Resource Center in Western's SMATE building.
