Odyssey of Science & Arts - Summer Program
Summer Odyssey, Grades 4-9
July 9-13, 2012

Spend a week at college exploring a “signature” course taught by an enthusiastic, respected educator that offers a quality and uniqueness seldom offered elsewhere. Students attend classes, participate in field trips, and experiment in specialized labs that engage them in a wide range of exciting, interactive hands-on activities that fosters a success-filled and fun learning environment.
Topics - Elementary School (Entering grades 4-6):
Mornings, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Afternoons, 1:00-5:00 p.m.

Schedule
Morning Schedule 8:15 a.m. Arrive 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Class period 12:35 p.m. Depart Afternoon Schedule 12:45 p.m. Arrive 1:00-5:00 p.m Class period 5:05 p.m. Depart
Supervision is provided from 12:30-1:00 p.m. for students registered for the full day. It is recommended students use this time as a lunch period. Students are to bring a sack lunch daily.
Cost: $179 per session (morning or afternoon) |
Program cost includes instruction, materials, field trips, lab rental, specialized equipment and a camp memento.
Early Registration Discount - Receive a $20 discount - register by May 15.
Alumni Association members, WWU faculty and staff receive a $20 per session discount at time of registration. Only one discount applies to this program.
Priority registration deadline: June 1
Registrations will be accepted after June 1 on a space available basis.
Cancellation and Refunds
A full refund is granted if a program or camp is cancelled. No reduction in fees is given for late arrival, early departure or expulsion for disciplinary matters. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing 12 working days prior to the first day of your session; a $50 handling charge will be deducted.
