Science & Arts Early Release Program

Western youth program favorites Odyssey of Science & Arts and Western Arts Preparatory Academy have teamed up to offer the Science & Arts Early Release Program. Designed for students in the Bellingham School District, Science & Arts Early Release is an extraordinary opportunity to explore the fun of science and art in a university setting.

Students will discover the "best kept secret" places on Western's campus and ignite their imagination and creativity. Hands-on activities in specialized labs and classrooms will fill the afternoon with phenomenal learning opportunities and great fun.

Each Wednesday session is from 1:45-5 p.m.
1:45-2:30 p.m.    Recreation: field games or sports, scavenger hunt, nature hike
2:30-5 p.m.          Hands-on learning activities

 


Students are asked to bring:
• A rain jacket
• A healthy snack and drink
• A curious mind

Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations must be made three working days before your Wednesday session. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and will be refunded minus a $25 per-session handling fee.
