The Video Production Certificate program is a unique professional studies program for those interested in the exciting and demanding fields of digital video production. This program offers up-to-date information presented by experienced professionals to ensure that you develop the necessary skills required for entry level roles in the industry or personal projects.
 

• Graduate with comprehensive training and a portfolio of projects
• Attend evening and weekend classes October 2007 through June 2008
• Show your video production at the WWU Video Festival
• Earn an optional 11 WWU Credit Hours through WWU Extended Education and Summer Programs

Cost: $3,700 (cost includes equipment fee)
Tuition and equipment fees are payable in installments – at the beginning of the fall, winter and spring terms.

Course Schedule and Description

SPRING
Post-production - All of the following are required:

• Production Management
  (2 hrs per week/8 weeks) March 31-May 19, Mondays, 6:30-8:30 pm
  Communications Facility, Room 229
• Post-production Editing
  (3 hrs per week/10 weeks) April 4-June 6, Fridays, 6-9 pm
  Communications Facility Lab, Room 161
• Post-production Sound
  (6 hours/1 day) Saturday, Date and time to be announced

SUMMER

• Post-production Lab - Continue editing your video project using WWU lab facilities – lab space is on a first come, first served basis.
