When should I register?
Registration for this program is open enrollment on a first-come, first-served basis and continues through September 17, 2007. After September 17, 2007, interested students will need to call (360) 650-3650 or e-mail profdev@wwu.edu to determine if space is still available.
What is the cost of the Video Production Certificate program?
Cost: $3,700 (includes equipment fee)
Note: students may use their own equipment with instructor approval
Credit Option: 11 credits are available as an option at $48 per credit
Will financial aid be available in the video productions certificate program?
Although federally guaranteed student loans are not available for part-time continuing education, there are a number of private continuing education loans available for part-time students. To learn more about continuing education loans, go to a Web site, such as, Education Loans, or you can use a search engine with the words "continuing education loans" for information about non-profit and credit-based loans available to part-time students.
When do the classes take place?

This certificate program has been designed to ensure that students are fully prepared in video production through comprehensive training and completion of a video portfolio. Students who enroll in the full certificate program are given priority registration for the courses and workshops. When space is available, non-certificate program students may enroll in a single course or workshop with instructor permission. Students interested in a single course or workshop will need to call (360) 650-3650 or e-mail profdev@wwu.edu for additional information.
What courses do I have to complete to receive the certificate?
The certificate program consists of a series of program topics offered October 2007 through June 2008. Participants complete 90 hours of instruction and a video production portfolio to receive a Video Production Certificate.
