Program Details
The online Graduate School Test Preparation courses are open to the public and are non-credit courses
that follow a self-directed, work-at-your-own-pace format. Students access the Web and take an assessment
test to help them determine what they need to study and then receive study plans and practice tests.
Western has partnered with Cambridge Educational Services*, nationally recognized in the field of test preparation, to assist you in preparing for your entrance exam.
The emphasis on every course is the Cambridge Six-Step Approach™ to test taking:
- Step 1 – Diagnostic Testing and Assessment Service
- Step 2 – Basic Skill Review
- Step 3 – Problem-Solving, Concepts and Strategies
- Step 4 – Practice Test Reinforcement
- Step 5 – Final Exam, Assessment Report and Review
- Step 6 – Personal Study Plan
Enrollment will be ongoing but with fixed start dates and four-month completion cycles for each course.
Registration forms received by the end of the month will begin your enrollment during the first week of the following month.
Refunds
Refunds must be requested in writing by the fourth day of the month your enrollment starts.
Online Format
The online courses are easy to navigate. There is nothing to download or install. All you need to participate is Internet access and an E-mail address. Although there isn’t an interactive instructor, assistance is accessible 24 hours a day via an 800 phone number and E-mail.
