Munro Seminar for Civic Education
Welcome to the 2012 Munro Seminar for Civic Education!
This seminar is designed to provide students and educators with the tools and knowledge to address policy problems and to understand more about the ways policymakers and citizens set priorities in challenging economic times.
This year, courses held in Seattle and Bellingham are expansions of the past summer seminars.
In a new and exciting innovation, the Seminar will be incorporating hybrid course components that will bring students from both classes together (virtually) for a variety of online and face-to-face activities, readings, and graded assignments. 
The 2012 Munro Seminar for Civic Engagement is offered in conjunction with Western’s Summer Session. Summer courses are open to the community; no formal admission to Western is required.
