- Creating Your Digital Brand: ART 397j (3 credits)
- This course will introduce students to a variety of methods of nonconventional digital portfolio construction. Moving beyond the traditional website, this course will cover options, including social networks, free blogs, and alternative free software.
Instructor: Aric Mayer
- Glassblowing: (4 credits)
- Master glass blower, Christopher Morrison, will introduce students to the centuries-old art of blowing glass, including history and design elements. 24 class hours will be devoted to hands on glass blowing experience. Course will be held at Morrison Glass Art Studio.

- How to Make a Movie: THTR 297b (3 credits)
- Learn how movies and television are made from director/writer R.W. Goodwin, Executive Producer of the famed series The X-Files. Goodwin and WWU faculty member Patrick Dizney will co-teach the class; a step by step exploration of the creation, production and post-production processes involved in the making o film and television. Goodwin has worked on feature films, television pilots, movies and series, including the Fugitive, Life Goes On, Pasadena, Tru Calling, Alien Trespass and Inside Moves, to name a few.

- Lean Startup & Entrepreneurship Methods: MGMT 497L (4 credits)

This team-based course is designed for anyone interested in learning how to develop a company. The only prerequisite is interest in discovering how to take an idea and develop it into a successful company.

- Mod-Hop I: DNC 100 (2 credits)

Entry level technique class that is a fusion of contemporary dance styles, including hip-hop, African, jazz and modern dance. Emphasis on rhythm, conditioning, isolation and individuality. Repeatable to a maximum of 6 credits. S/U grading. Students who enroll will have to be members of the Wade King Recreation Center

- Open Ballet: DNC 101 (2 credits)
- No dance experience required. Basic principles of the ballet as an artistic and physical medium. Introduction to ballet terminology, basic barre exercises, simple combinations in adagio and allegro.
Repeatable to a maximum of 6 credits. S/U grading.

- This course will discuss the nature of gender in performance theory and how it is applicable to professional artists in the craft of Theatre and Dance in the U.S. and U.K.

- - In-depth seminar explores the diverse arts and visual cultures of India from the 15th to the 19th centuries
- Covers issues related to patronage and courtly power, gender and women’s representation, art in cross-cultural encounters, early modern trade and diplomacy.
