- The nature of learning and characteristics of an optimal learning environment; and
- The ways of assessing mathematical understandings.
Numerical Reasoning

This 9-day course provides educators with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of numbers in ways that build a strong foundation for success with algebraic reasoning. This course develops and deepens participant understanding of:
- Number including work with computation of rational numbers and with numerical reasoning;
- The nature of learning and characteristics of an optimal learning environment; and
- Ways of assessing mathematical understandings.
