A week in the life of a Western IEP student
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
8 a.m. - I get up, shower, eat my breakfast and work on homework until about 11:15
11:30 a.m. - I take the bus to Western. I live in Birnam Wood, so the bus stop is not far from my home.
When I arrive at Western, I always buy a coffee. My favorite is an iced Americano.
Noon - Conversation Class
1 p.m. - Reading Class
2 p.m. - Lunch time! I usually eat lunch at the VU.
3 p.m. - Writing Class
4 p.m. - Grammar Class
After class, I take the bus home to drop off my things and relax.
6:30 p.m. - I go to the Wade King Student Recreation Center to exercise. I usually like to play basketball or do weight training.
8 p.m. - I take the bus back home. When I get home, I make and eat my dinner. I cook Korean food to eat in my American home:
After dinner, I spend time on the computer and message with my friends. I use two programs, one for my friends in Korea and one for my friends in America.
I also check my email and my Facebook page.
Sometimes, I watch Korean TV on my computer at this time.
Usually, I go to bed at about midnight or 1 a.m.
But if it is a Friday night, I go out with friends. Sometimes we go to parties and sometimes we go to a bar. I usually go with IEP and American friends.
Wednesday
My mornings are the same; I wake up at 8 a.m., shower, eat my breakfast and work on homework.
10:30 a.m. - I take the bus to Western.
11 a.m. - Tutor Lab Class. In this class, I meet with an American who is a TESOL student. Sometimes we do homework. Sometimes my tutor gives me an English mini-lesson.
12:30 p.m. - Lunch!
1-2:30 p.m. - Movies and Language class. For this class, I watch English movies with other IEP students as well as American students. Then, we talk about the movie and the English used in the movie.
4 p.m. - I usually hang out with my American and IEP friends:
Sometimes we go swimming at a lake:
Sometimes I invite everyone to my house and I cook Korean food for everyone. Sometimes we watch a movie. And sometimes I go to my friends' houses.
Most times I go home around 10 p.m. Then I spend time on the computer until I go to bed.
Weekends
On the weekends, I sleep in late. I wake up maybe at 11 a.m.
Next, I make lunch and do laundry.
I do different things on the weekends. Mostly I spend time with my friends.
Some things we might do are:

At about 8 or 9 p.m. we all go to parties:
I usually get home late on Saturday night!
