Personal expenses and textbook costs are not included. Housing and food costs are approximate and are subject to change.
Academic Quarters:
Fall, winter, spring and summer quarters, average of 10-week sessions (see the Quarterly Schedule for exact dates)

WWU Payment and Fee Information
Tuition is due AFTER students have registered for classes in IEP.
Students may pay their IEP tuition and Western fees using a credit card, personal check, traveler’s check, or cash. Payments with credit cards can be made online or on-campus, but will be charged a 2.75% fee. Partial tuition refunds are given the second and third week. After the third week of classes, refunds will not be given.
We generally recommend that students open checking accounts from an American bank after they arrive at Western. IEP staff will assist students with opening checking accounts.

*WWU fees include Health Center, Technology, General Services, Recreation Center, Building, and a Transportation fee of $25 (students will receive a bus pass). These fees are mandatory for all WWU students. Textbook costs are not included.
