Preparing for the Program


You may complete your first two years of college studies, including program prerequisites, at a local state community college or university. It’s very important to obtain program advisement beginning the first term of college studies to fulfill prerequisite requirements for admission to Huxley. The prerequisites for the B.A./B.S. tracks vary, and we can assist you in determining appropriate transfer equivalencies for these:
 
Lower Division Prerequisites Bachelor of Arts: Bachelor of Science:
General Biology w/Labs 1-2* Biology Courses 1 Year Sequence
General Chemistry w/Labs 1 Course 1 Year Sequence
Mathematics Pre-calculus + Statistics Calculus
Physical Geography/Geology 1 Course 1 Course
Intro to Micro Economics 1 Course 1 Course
Political Science 1 Course 1 Course
Advanced Expository Writing 1 Course 1 Course

* Second course may be a lab course chosen from Biology, Chemistry , Geology, or Physics.
