Guided Correspondence Courses -
Online Courses- Each of the two types of learning has a different registration deadline and period of enrollment.
- All courses are open to everyone. Admission to WWU is not required.
- Check the course prerequisites in each course description.
(print-based learning)
- Register anytime.
- Before you register, click here to preview the course syllabi.
- Register in person at the Extended Education and Summer Programs (EESP) office, by mail or by fax.
- Complete the registration form in the syllabus or download the form now. Online Registration is currently not available for Guided Correspondence.
- Payment must be included with the registration form.
- Consider yourself enrolled as soon as you submit the registration form.
- You will receive a receipt from the EESP office if you register by mail or fax.
Registration Guideline Dates
Beginning July 1, 2008 Guided Correspondence courses will be registered on a student's WWU transcript at the time of registration based on the following dates:
Fall: August 1-October 30
Winter: November 1-February 28
Spring: March 1-April 30
Summer: May 1-July 30
Students not using credits to fulfill Financial Aid or final term graduation requirements will still have nine months to complete their course.

Online Courses
(Interactive Internet learning)
- Online course deadlines match WWU’s quarterly start/end dates.
- Register by the 5th day of the quarter.
- Register in person at the EESP office, by mail or by fax.
- Payment is due at the time of registration.
- Students receive an e-mail when they are registered. A receipt for payments received in the EESP office will be sent by mail.
