Courses available through Independent Learning (IL) are not funded by the state legislature and the program is completely self-sustaining. Tuition for these courses is separate from and will be in addition to other programs you may enroll in at WWU. Fees are subject to change as the result of action by Western’s Board of Trustees or the Washington State Legislature.
- There are two different tuition rates – one for each type of learning.
- Tuition is due at the time of registration.
- Textbooks, workbooks or supplemental materials required for some courses are not included in tuition charges.
- Reduced tuition programs such as state employee tuition waivers do not apply to these courses.
