The Northwest Tribal Oral History interviews were initially produced under the direction of Dr. Donald Eklund, Associate Professor of History at Western Washington University and Professor Jeffery Wilner also of Western Washington University.  In 1999-2000, Stacy Rasmus of the Lummi Language and Cultural Department of the Lummi Indian Business Council transcribed some of the interviews and also produced numerous interview abstracts for website access as part of a joint project between the Lummi Indian Nation and the Center for Pacific Northwest Studies.
