Meet at 10:15 at Conference Check-In Near Gallery Boardroom

Learn about two exciting community-campus partnerships at San José State University. We’ll begin with a tour of King Library, the first joint city-university library in the U.S. We’ll then travel to McKinley Neighborhood Center for burritos and a presentation about CommUniverCity San José, a unique service-learning collaborative of the Five Wounds/Brookwood Terrace Neighborhood, the City of San José, SJSU, and partner organizations to address local community health, education, and neighborhood environment issues. Last, we’ll visit selected neighborhood sites.
