Western Washington University plays in the Pacific Intercollegiate Volleyball Association - PIVA. We are not a varsity sport, instead we are a WWU club organization. Our money comes from team dues, sponsors, fundraisers and school funding. This allows us to travel all across the state. Our two big annual tournaments are UC Davis Invitational (February) and NIRSA Nationals (April).

We are the official host of The Western Open annual outdoor grass doubles tournament held mid May.

Tryouts are held in October, usually one month after school starts in the fall. Everyone makes the team - Nobody is cut! Instead, we form as many teams as we can field based on skill level.
