• Recognize situations covered by the Ethics in Public Service Act;
• Develop an awareness of the ethical aspects of public actions and decisions; and
• Learn decision-making techniques that can resolve ethical problems.

Detailed Steps to Access the Course the First-time

1. Go to Blackboard Learning System webpage, http://courses.wwu.edu/index.html
2. Enter your Universal Login

   • What is the Universal Login?  Your Universal Login is a gateway to an array of online resources offered by WWU.  This username password combination are your ticket to MyWestern, Email and Blackboard.

3. Type ethics into the Course Search box
   • Look for the Course ID of t_hr_ethicsChallenge
     • A description of the course is displayed
4. Click the Options Menu icon under the t_hr_ethicsChallenge Course ID
5. Click Enroll
6. Click Submit
7. Click OK
8. Click (left navigation menu) and read the Course Information, It will give you a brief description of the course, the modules and progress checks, how to take the course and the navigation links.
9. Click on Course Modules (left navigation menu) to access the training modules
