Tips On Using the CPNWS Search Page
 
It is important to use specific keywords.
For Example:
Entering a phrase like "What is the history of Western Washington" will not get a satisfactory result.

Instead, use terms like "Western Washington; history", to get better results..
 
Truncate your search terms: Using a term like "politic" returns those records that contain terms and phrases politics, political, party politics, or political career. Searching for the term "politics" will only return records with "politics" as one of the words.
 
Vary your search: If a search does not produce a result, try different terms. For example, a search for "salmon" might be followed by a search for "fish" or "canning".
