Location and Hours
 

The Center for Pacific Northwest Studies is located in the Goltz-Murray Archives building on the campus of Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. The building also houses two companion programs, the University Archives and Records Center, and the Washington State Archives: Northwest Regional branch that hold records which may be of interest to researchers.

 

Center hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm (excluding state holidays)*

 

CPNWS will be closed September 1st - 5th.

Regular research hours will resume on Monday September 6th.

 

*CPNWS staffing and hours may vary during WWU Intercession. Please contact the repository for details or to set up an appointment. View WWU Calendar for academic term dates.

 

Directions & Parking (click here to view Google Map)

  • Take the Samish Way Exit (Exit 252) from Interstate 5.

  • Turn west on Bill McDonald Parkway heading up the hill toward Western Washington University.

  • Turn left on 25th Street and immediately left into Lot 33G (directly opposite the main entrance to the Goltz-Murray Archives Building.

  • Parking is free to researchers. Please request a daily pass at the Archives Building front desk upon arrival.
