Location
The Center for Pacific Northwest Studies is located in the Goltz-Murray Archives
building on the campus of Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.
The building also houses two companion programs, the
University Archives and Records Center, and the
Washington State Archives: Northwest Regional branch that
hold records which may be of interest to researchers.

Take the Samish Way Exit (Exit 252) from Interstate 5.

Turn west on Bill McDonald Parkway
heading up the hill toward Western Washington University.
You will pass Sehome High School on the left-hand side.

Turn left on 25th Street and
immediately left into Lot 33G (directly opposite the main
entrance to the Goltz-Murray Archives Building).

Parking is free
to non-WWU researchers. Please request a daily pass at the
Archives Building front desk upon arrival.

We are not
permitted to provide parking passes to WWU faculty, staff or
students. WWU visitors
should stop by the Parking Services Desk at the Campus
Services Building to request a pass (or to temporarily
reassign an existing pass) for Lot
33G.
Bus Service
Whatcom Transportation
Authority provides bus service via the Goltz-Murray
Archives Building, including from the following
locations:

WWU Viking
Union - Routes 105, 107, 190, 90A*, 90B*

WWU Lincoln Creek
Park and Ride - Routes 190, 90A*, 90B*

Downtown
Bellingham Bus Station - Routes 105, 107, 108, 190, 25X, 28X
*Routes 90A
and 90B run only while WWU is in session (not during
summer).
